To serve as an ambassador means to be able to represent and promote whatever group you act for. As Christians we know as we accept Jesus as our personal Savior, we are urged to take on the mantle of all His Blood and Love represents. This means taking His Word everywhere we go. As living testimonies and vessels our lives should reflect all that we stand for. We are advocates for His Mercy and loving kindness so God uses our lives to speak to all those who have closed their ears to Him.

Trust me I know it’s hard. It’s been 8 years since I made the decision to be a Christ follower and I’m still trying to figure it out. Living in an era and world where anything that deviates from the norm is discriminated against, we’re at a disadvantage where the majority of the world is led by their flesh. In the media, in our schools, and our communities, there are so many principles and values that go against what the Creator wants for us. Standing against the world sometimes means standing against your family, your friends and your peers but if you’re not the example of what life on Earth should look like, how would anyone know?

Each and every one of us was introduced into our Christian journey by someone or something that took on the mantle of Christ and guided us to the right path. As Christians we should not deny that option for someone else. We should take charge and yearn for our beliefs and ideologies to be the majority rather than the stepped on truth. Remember, we are the light and salt of this world. We are here to continue the work our Christ Jesus started so many years ago.

We need to be able to walk into rooms and shine light into the darkest of places. We need to be able to be giants in the spiritual and physical realms. We need to call on the power of the Holy One that causes demons to tremble. We need to be able to take charge of businesses, media outlets, governments and hold that mantle with pride and honor knowing we are aiding in the survival of another soul. We are not put on this Earth to be idle beings but pillars and world shakers. Nothing about our God is mediocre so how dare we invoke that spirit over our lives. We were called to leave footprints in the sand and continue walking in the victory that has already been won. Let’s not forget who we are called to be and tap into our unique gifts and callings so that we can maximize the perfect and excellent potential resting in us.

2 Corinthians 5:20

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”
