Planted

We’ve all found ourselves in a season within our lives where everything around us seems to have come to a halt. Some of us may feel stagnant, some of us may feel confined, and some of us may even feel imprisoned. Quarantine will do that to you. However, we have to remember that the Lord God who orchestrated each and every part of this world did not put us at a stand still for no reason. Right now, reading this post, stop and think. What is the Lord showing you in this moment? What is the Lord trying to communicate with you during this period of time? Why has the Lord put you specifically in the spot that you are in? Best believe there is a specific reason for where you are right now. Ask the Lord why are you planted right now?

You see, being planted doesn’t mean that it’s over. Most of us should know that once a seed is planted, some time needs to pass before there are results. All that seed feels is claustrophobia. With all that soil surrounding the seed, I wouldn’t expect any other feeling. What the seed doesn’t know is that the soil is providing it with the nutrition and water it needs to be able to grow. In that time all the seed sees is darkness. Not only because the soil is always going to be dark, messy and pressuring, but also because the seed can not see what’s waiting for them beyond the surface.

We are these seeds. We are planted and being fed information, tools and resources that’ll help us grow. However the seed doesn’t receive these things until it decides to open up and let these different beneficial components in. If we don’t let God into our circumstances, situations and current state, how can God fill us with everything we need. A lot of the time we want God to do it all, which He can, but has given us the concept of free will. Until we say yes and allow ourselves to be vulnerable we will not be able to grow. How long we are planted is up to us. When are we finally going to make the decision to let God in? How much work are we willing to put in?

A lot of the times, the process takes days, weeks, or months. A lot of the times, the process includes some icky things we left in our past that we need to release at His feet. A lot of the times, it is going to be down right hard. But you know what keeps those who get through it going? The understanding that once one breaks through the surface, the glory, the amazement, and the blessing that is waiting for them is incomparable. We need to trust that our Maker has a perfect plan for us. A plan of prosperity. A plan of growth. A plan that secures our spot on the highway to Heaven.

As we are planted, find ways to strengthen your relationship with the King. Make sure you are doing everything you can do to hear Him. He is going to outpour so many things we’ve never seen before. His hand will be upon the Earth showcasing miracles and wonders. Those miracles and wonders have a place in your lives if you would only just let Him in. The Lord is reaching out to you and knocking on the door to your heart. I’m telling you to open that door. Stop bearing the weight you’ve collected all your life and lay it at His feet. All He wants to do is resurrect the greatness resting in you. He will do it. Believe, trust, and have faith that He will do it.

Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NIV

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

‭‭
